Tricia + Barrett

We've been looking forward to Tricia & Barrett's wedding ever since they booked us after finding out about us from offbeatbride.com. They definitely went with a more non-traditional wedding: The location was Barrett's workplace, Reel FX in Deep Ellum which was awesome! Their centerpieces were gorgeous, Blenko glass loaned to them by a friend. Tricia wore a short (and very cute) dress and carried a bouquet of sparkly crystals (which she made herself) instead of flowers. The groom and groomsmen wore snazzy Converse high tops. They had cheesecake pops instead of a cake, absolutely delicious! The wedding was exactly what they wanted, a big party with all their friends and family! Afterward we headed to the Warwick Melrose Hotel for a "night cap" session at the Library Bar. The newlyweds were too cute and we had tons of fun getting to spend a little extra time with them.

We hope you guys have as much fun looking at your photos as we had taking them! And thanks also to our associate photographer Laura S. for joining us!

One little side note: The officiant started off the ceremony with the scene from The Princess Bride that went like this..."Mawwage...Mawwage is what bwings us togevah today". It was hilarious and a really great way to start off the ceremony :)

We are so in love with the photos! Kudos to your artistic vision and for giving us more than what we ever could have hoped for.

Thanks Tricia!!! We were definitely inspired by all of the art around us and the beautiful touches to the reception and ceremony, and of course by you two!

This is a very nice post! I am also getting married next week in one of the Venues in NYC booked by my mother. I trust her a lot in such cases, she has an amazing sense of design and interiors and I can blindly give her the responsibility of decorating and arranging my wedding day venue.
