Our First Boudoir Session!

We had our very first boudoir session this weekend and I have to say we had a blast! Amanda, one of our brides from last year, is celebrating her first year anniversary with her hubby Andrew and as a gift she wanted to take some boudoir photos to give him. Such a cute idea and we were all for it! Apparently so were all of her friends that she told and they wanted to do the same thing! So we all got together this past Saturday and had a boudoir photo shoot bonanza! They were soooooo great to work with and I can't thank them enough for being so much fun to work with! I also want to thank Amanda's make up artist Amy Williams for getting the girls all glammed up and looking beautiful.

Below are a couple of the photos we took from the session, and you can click here to view more of the photos from the shoot! And if you're up for a boudoir session don't be shy and let us know!

Christina & Andy Engaged!

I absolutely love this first photo of Christina and Andy's shoot! They have the no-smile-but-no looking-angry-either face down pat and it totally works in this photo! I myself have tried many times in the mirror and it can be pretty hard! They were really great to work with and we had lots of fun at the end with some props we brought :) They are getting married on New Year's Day of 2010 (they're exiting in a helicopter, how cool is that?!?!) so we brought along some fun stuff like bubbles to play with! Here's a sneak peek of the shoot!

Check out Raelyn's new blog!

Hey all! Raelyn here. I just wanted to invite everyone to check out my new blog, Nom Nom Blog. It's about my favorite things in life (other than photography of course!): cooking, my garden, and my cat. So if you're interested in learning some new recipes and seeing the various calamities of me trying to grow my own tomatoes, stop on by and let me know what you think!

Katie & Marty Engaged!

We shot Katie & Marty's engagement session this past weekend and during the shoot we found out about the super romantic way Marty proposed! About two months ago Dallas participated in a lights out event for Earth Hour where the city turned off it's lights at night. Katie and Marty went to one of the lights out viewings and Marty popped the question as downtown Dallas went dark!!! How romantic is that?!?! He's definitely a keeper!

Brittany & Kyle's Wedding

Kyle & Brittany were married this Saturday at Arlington Hall in Dallas. They had an outside wedding and with the way the weather forecasts have been we had no idea what to expect! Thankfully it didn't rain and the ceremony turned out beautiful! The reception was super cute; it was a day wedding and instead of the usual entree they had breakfast! French toast and waffles and croissants and then to top that off two cakes! Talk about a sugar high! Ok, on to the photos!

Japan Photos!

I FINALLY got around to editing the photos from my trip to Japan. My boyfriend, Allen, and I went to Japan in March to visit a high school friend that now lives there. I'm soooo envious of her! Japan is such an amazing place. I really had no idea what to expect, my only perception of Japan was from the movie Lost in Translation! The people are amazingly nice and help you no matter how little Japanese you know or how little English they know! It's so different everywhere you turn, from city to city, and so beautiful. The food is incredible! Mmmmm sushi, and we did eat some more interesting things like taco (which is octopus in Japanase so that was a bit confusing), chicken heat and cartilege and even raw horse!!! Even though I won't be including those in my daily food intake it was fun to try. My friend showed us an amazing time around the town, we stayed mostly in Tokyo. She took us to meet her many many friends and we went out for lots of food and karaoke and more food and more karaoke! I could go on and on about our trip but I'll just get on to the photos! Here's a few of the THOUSANDS of photos I ended up taking, and then below is a collage of fun photos of us around the town.

This are from Tokyo
