Jennifer & Brian's Wedding

Jennifer and Brian had a small and intimate wedding at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church in Dallas with friends and family. I always feel so honored to be able to be a part of such a day full of emotion and love, and I wanted to thank them for letting me document this day for them. I hope they have a wonderful life together, and on to the photos!!! Oh! And I just love the idea of guests signing the vase at the reception! Something I've never seen before which is super cute!

Kay & Tex's Wedding

I was so happy to be able to photography Tex & Kay's wedding. This is the second marriage for both of them so they decided to keep it simple and intimate with only their close friends and family, and at first weren't going to have a photographer. But Tex, who is my optometrist, remembered the business card I gave him one visit and gave me a call. Luckily I was available and I had a great time and I hope I was able to capture all the love I felt for them there. They were joined at the alter with their daughters and the ceremony was full of laughter and a few happy tears. It was a great start to my wedding season and I wish them both all the best!

Andrea's Bridals

We've had a great time getting to know Andrea over the last month with shooting her engagement and bridal. Andrea and Zach are getting married on March 14 which is less than one month away! We're really excited and can't wait to document their day for them!

Andrew's promotional spot for Honda motorcycles

My brother Andrew is in the commercial/film biz and is starting a commercial ad agency with some friends. As all artists know, you can't get clients without a portfolio so last weekend they all got together to shoot a promotional spot for Honda motorcycles. Being a good sis, when he asked me to tag along to get some behind the scenes photos I said sure why not. And I'm glad I went because it was very interesting, and it looked like they got some good footage! Anyways, I thought I'd share some photos so you can see what we're up to when we're not photographing weddings. Enjoy!

A Day in the Life of baby Isaac

I visited my friend Amanda this weekend in Killeen and of course couldn't resist taking a few photos of her 11 month old baby Isaac. If you've followed our blog for a while you'll notice I take photos of Isaac every chance I get! He's just growing up so fast and in each session he looks like a completely different baby! So I've shared a few of the photos from this weekend with everyone, he's just so dang adorable I can't help myself! I also like to think I know what's he's thinking, so I've included a few captions of what I think is going on in the little head of his :)

"Oh mom! Not in front of the cameras please! You're embarrassing me!"

Isaac kept messing around with the window blinds so I was acting as a human barricade for the day. He tried his darndest to get past me though, who can resist that adorable little face!

A baby's eye view :) He's actually learning to walk already but for efficiency sake he prefers at times to crawl.

I found his "My Dad Rules" hat, which of course is totally true!

"Are you gonna follow me around with that camera all day?"

I so wish playing with window blinds could keep me as entertained as it does him :)

Chompin' on some wood

Look at those beautiful blue eyes!

This is his scary face. Grrr!!!

"Ok Ok, now it's my turn with the camera!"

"And I'm pooped! Time to chomp on the ol' thumb"
