Natalie's Bridals - and motorcycle rally???

Oh to show up at the Stockyards for a bridal shoot only to discover there's a huge motorcycle rally in the street. Yeah, that's pretty much what happened to us on Saturday for Natalie's bridal shoot! The streets were FILLED with people and bikers and kids and horses and who knows what else. Fortunately for us Natalie had gotten a room at the Stockyard Hotel so we were able to use a lot of the scenery in the back and inside! We had a really great time though, she was such a great sport about it all -- and lets just say bikers love a girl in a wedding dress! On to the photos!

Natalie had AWESOME shoes she found for her wedding day,
so we thought she should show them off a little for the bridal!

As you can see I wasn't lying about us being surrounded by bikers!
They were incredibly nice though and let us get this great shot of Natalie. Oh - and the right photo is Natalie making her funny face - she was so apologetic about making her funny faces during the shoot but they were just super cute we had to post one of them (plus we threatened her that we'd post it on the blog! :)

Alex & Aerin's Wedding - A bentley for the bentley's!

Alex and Aerin were married on a gorgeous Friday afternoon in the Discovery Gardens - the weather could not have been more perfect for an outside ceremony. We then went to Ten Times Cellar - a winery in Dallas - and had a blast. Everyone really cut it up on the dance floor, which makes it all the more fun for us!

Funny story: Alex works with me at Pegasus News so when he told people he was getting married I of course hit him up to do his wedding! About a month before he was hired on at Pegasus News we had photographed Melinda & Ryan's wedding and he happened to be there (he's friends with Ryan) AND that just so happened to be the night that Alex and Aerin got engaged. Well, since we didnt know each other at the time we had no idea each other was there until Alex found out from Ryan about a few months ago that we were the ones who photographed Melinda and Ryan's wedding! Hmmm, hope that all makes sense! :) Anyway, just goes to show it's an incredibly small world!

Alex's parents surprised them with a Bentley for their get-away car for the evening.
Sad to say it actually took me a second to get the whole Bentley thing :)

"The Future!" aka. baby bump! :) Little inside joke between their friends that they kept saying ALL night long :):):)

Kelly & Casey's Wedding (FINALLY!)

Kelly and Casey have been together for 8 years - so everybody at the wedding was ecstatic that they were finally tying the knot! It was such a pleasure to be able to document this day for them. They are totally in love and it showed in all the photos! The ceremony and reception were held at the Mediterranean Villa in Arlington. They said their own vows during the ceremony which I'm sure made a few tears trickle down some faces (luckily we have cameras to hide behind :) And as usual we had a hard time picking just a few for the blog, especially for the exit photos which turned out awesome! They really got hit hard with those little sugar hearts! Congrats Kelly & Casey!!!

Casey had the coolest cake I've ever seen - a record player cake. Too bad they had to cut into it!

Hmmm...wonder what song this could be???

Heather & Robert's Wedding

Heather & Robert were married this weekend at First Presbyterian Church of Grapevine. Grapevine was one of the cities that was hit pretty hard during our "little" snow storm last week, but fortunately that cleared up just in time for their wedding! They then headed off to the beautiful Timarron Country Club for their reception. We had a great time shooting their wedding, it was so hard to pick just a few photos for the blog post! I hope yall have an amazing time in St. Lucia - hopefully it'll be nice and warm when you come back! Congrats!!! (I'm sure Sydney is eagerly awaiting your return!)

One of heather's bridesmaids actually made these wedding flops for her! They are too cute - she wore them during the reception.

There were still patches of snow here and there from the snow storm.
