Dawn + Alan

Dawn and Alan had their ceremony at the Marty Leonard Chapel, a location that had special significance for them because Alan's grandfather stayed at the Lena Pope home. (Not only that but it was his grandparents' wedding anniversary as well!) It's one of our favorite places for ceremonies, and Raelyn and her associate photographer Michelle enjoyed taking advantage of all that beautiful natural light! After the ceremony they headed to downtown Fort Worth for the reception at the Norris Center, a place we've been looking forward to shooting since they opened last year. You might remember it as the old Sundance AMC theater but now it's a fantastic location for events. Growing up in Fort Worth we're sure we've seen plenty of movies where Dawn and Alan celebrated their marriage with dancing and toasts. Also Dawn was inducted as an honorary member of the Tarleton State Purple Poo, but don't tell anyone because it's a secret society. :) The fun was capped off with a balloon release as the happy couple exited, a fantastic end to a great day!
