Alex & Aerin's Wedding - A bentley for the bentley's!

Alex and Aerin were married on a gorgeous Friday afternoon in the Discovery Gardens - the weather could not have been more perfect for an outside ceremony. We then went to Ten Times Cellar - a winery in Dallas - and had a blast. Everyone really cut it up on the dance floor, which makes it all the more fun for us!

Funny story: Alex works with me at Pegasus News so when he told people he was getting married I of course hit him up to do his wedding! About a month before he was hired on at Pegasus News we had photographed Melinda & Ryan's wedding and he happened to be there (he's friends with Ryan) AND that just so happened to be the night that Alex and Aerin got engaged. Well, since we didnt know each other at the time we had no idea each other was there until Alex found out from Ryan about a few months ago that we were the ones who photographed Melinda and Ryan's wedding! Hmmm, hope that all makes sense! :) Anyway, just goes to show it's an incredibly small world!

Alex's parents surprised them with a Bentley for their get-away car for the evening.
Sad to say it actually took me a second to get the whole Bentley thing :)

"The Future!" aka. baby bump! :) Little inside joke between their friends that they kept saying ALL night long :):):)

the black and white photos are just amazing! Didi you touch them up or used a separate lens for the same?

Laura and Raelyn, these pictures are just amazing. You really captured the joyous mood of the wedding and reception. I'm so happy that Aerin and I will be able to look at these pictures in the future and be able to be transported back to the feeling of that night. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hey Alex - we're so glad you like the blog photos! We had a blast at your wedding, especially the reception, and could not have asked for better subjects and a more beautiful day! And remember, this is just a sneak peek - we have tons more coming!

i love the one with the couple standing at the "altar" where they're in focus and the edges are blurred. also love the montage with the flowered shoes. (love the shoes.) but it's all beautiful!

i just stumbled across this wedding via a stylish soiree's blog...and just had to look at more photos. i have to say that i have never seen photos that exude so much emotion--they truly look just unbelievably happy. just wanted to compliment your work...what a lucky couple. i'm also dying to know who designed those gorgeous programs...they are beautiful!

Hi 'anonymous' - Their wedding was definitely filled with so much emotion, and it was such an honor to document the day for them. As for the brochures, that's probably a question for A Stylish Soiree or for their coordinators at Blessed Unions. Here's their link, they too were great to work with! http://www.blessedunions.com

I am biased as the mother of the groom but I think the pictures are fabulous! You truly captured the essence of the day, somehow showing all the love and all the fun. Thnak you doing such a great job, we will cherish these images forever. We shared the Bentley photos with Romantic Rememberances, they said it was the most fun they had ever had providing transportation for a wedding. Your great pictures of their Bentley was part of that.
To answer the question about the programs, the bride herself did those, which takes nothing away from the great job Blessed Unions did as our wedding coordinator. Thanks again for making their special day even better.
