Olivia
We photographed Sarah & Brian's wedding over two years ago and were ecstatic when they asked us to photograph their new addition to the family, Olivia! Olivia was born on September 4, so that would make her a little over 4 months. Sarah was my next-door neighbor when I was growing up so I got the added bonus of seeing her as a brand new mom. She makes an amazing mom, and Brian an amazing dad! Being able to photograph our couples' babies is such a treat for us and we hope to do more in the future!

Tish & Cody's Wedding
It's been a crazy busy wedding season that we capped off recently with Tish and Cody's wedding in Dallas. First we joined all the girls for some getting ready fun then we headed over to Perkins Chapel for the ceremony. There was some crazy traffic due to a basketball game at SMU but luckily we all made it on time and the ceremony was beautiful. Next up was the reception where Cody had an awesome groom's cake, Tish and Cody shared a first dance to a special song written by Cody's band, and everybody partied the night away. We had a great time and it was extra fun for Raelyn because her brother is a good friend of Tish's so he was there to party too. (She even helped him pick out a new suit to wear!)
So now it's time for us to catch up on some editing and maybe even get a little break for the holidays. Not too much of a break though, next year is coming up fast!

Raelyn's brother making a heart with the sparklers. His suit jacket did not make it to the end of the night.

Colbie & Jake + Their Two Pups!
It was so nice to see Colbie and Jake again last weekend when we all met up for a portrait session in downtown Dallas. (We photographed Colbie and Jake's wedding last October.) They've just moved back to Dallas after living in Austin for a year so it was nice to be able to capture a little bit of their new hometown. And they brought along their 2 dogs Ernie and Everett to complete the family photo!
We had a great time catching up and checking out the brand new opera house. We hope you like the photos!
While Ernest and Everett were very well-behaved, it was sometimes a challenge to get them focused and all smiles for the camera. As you can see in this photo Everett got a little distracted :)
They were so tuckered out by the end of the shoot!

Tristen & Neil's Wedding
Laura and....Laura, our second shooter :), headed to downtown Mckinney to photograph Tristen and Neil's wedding. Their ceremony was held in the beautiful red brick church, First United Methodist Church. After the ceremony we got some alone time with the newly wed couple to get a few shots of them inside and out of the church. I love the antique feel of down town and were glad we were able to get some time with just of two of them in the setting. The reception started out with lots of energy when the wedding party each had their own little dance move upon entering the room. Along with all of the dancing which is always fun, they had a photo booth which is a personal favorite of mine. Tristen and Neil recently got back from their honeymoon in Costa Rica and hope they had an amazing time!
