City Kitchen Open House

We were invited to an open house at City Kitchen Catering by Brandi Chapman, who we had the pleasure of working with recently on Erin & Jeff's wedding. They had lots of yummy food like seared tuna on wontons, risotto cakes, chilled avocado soup, bread pudding, ginormous chocolate covered strawberries, and my personal favorite - grilled gouda sandwiches with bacon and pear. Mmmm bacon! They also had some lovely flower arrangements by Toan at Mid Cities Florist. So if you're looking for a caterer or florist for your wedding or event be sure to check them out!

Meredith & Philip Engaged!

We ventured out to Philip's family's land in Flower Mound for Meredith & Philip's enagement session and had an awesome time! Philip's grandfather collects lots and lots of old cars which we got to use for props (thanks Philip's grandfather!), and then we wandered around the land to a few barns and woodsy areas. It was our little photo shoot adventure, with us hopping fences and walking through long fields of grass. Thanks for being such troopers guys, hope you like them!

Melanie & Don's Wedding

Melanie and Don were married at the A and M Gardens in Azle where they held both their ceremony and reception. This couple is a lot of fun, we first knew this when they offered to take their engagements at the Flying Saucer :) So we were excited for what they had in store at their wedding! Lots of fun photos below, looove the photo where he's taking off the garter :)

Ok, funny story: So Don has a twin brother. I had forgotten about this, so while Melanie was getting ready and his brother came into the room I was screamed OH NO!!!!! in my mind. I didn't actually scream :) A few other people in the room had momentarily forgotten and gasped when he came into the room. But...we soon all remembered and all was ok :) Anywho! We wish you two all the best!

Amanda's Bridals

Amanda toughed it out with us in this crazy Texas heat, and although it was super hot she was super gorgeous :) We hung out around the Stockyards in Fort Worth and even ran into two bus fulls of tourists who kept taking photos of Amanda! It was pretty funny :) She felt like a celeb for the day getting caught in the papparazi! Amanda and Jason are getting married in September at Lone Oak Winery in Burleson so we look forward to seeing them real soon. Oh...and no peeking Jason!

Erin & Jeff's Wedding

We're back online and ready to post some photos! Erin & Jeff were married at All Saints Lutheran Church, gorgeous ceremony :) and then we headed to the T&P building in downtown Fort Worth. Looove this place, our first time to shoot their and we just love the decor. It's really open for lots of guests and dancing, and it has great a art deco feel. They had a lot of fun and we hope it shows through in the photos. Enjoy!

On a side note: We just moved hosting to a new company so if you notice anything funky with the site please let us know! (ie. missing pages, email not working, all that good stuff).

How many bridesmaids does it take to put on a wedding dress...5! :)

Raelyn caught this super cute, intimate shot right after the cermony

Erin put little sparkles under her heels that read "I Do", for those who can't read upside down :)

We had some time before their entrance into the reception to take some shots in the outside area of the T&P building. We love love love being able to get some extra shots of just the couple after the ceremony.

Right before the ceremony Jeff gave a heart trinket to Erin as a little wedding day gift which she put into her bouquet. (top left image)
